Our Story

Founded in 2009 by Master Pastry Chef Klara Müller, Himmel Patisserie brings the rich heritage of German baking to life in the heart of Munich. After training in Paris and Vienna, Klara returned to her homeland with a vision to create a patisserie that honors traditional recipes while embracing innovative techniques.

Our name "Himmel" means "heaven" in German, reflecting our commitment to creating heavenly pastries that delight all senses. We source only the finest ingredients, including organic flour from local mills, seasonal fruits from Bavarian orchards, and premium chocolate from sustainable producers.

Each day, our team of skilled bakers arrives before dawn to ensure that everything is freshly baked for your enjoyment. We take pride in our attention to detail and our dedication to preserving the good, time-honored methods that make German pastries so special.

Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte

Our artisanal pretzel breads are made using a traditional Bavarian recipe. The distinctive dark brown crust comes from a lye bath before baking, resulting in that authentic pretzel flavor. Perfect with butter or as a sandwich base.
